Southwark Citizens Advice Bureaux provide generalist advice to refugees and recently arrived migrants, particularly those whose first language isn't English.
Advice can be given at generalist level on debt, benefits, NASS support, housing, employment, goods and services, as well as assistance with accessing local services such as healthcare.
Cases needing specialist support in areas such as immigration, debt and housing will be referred either to specialists within the CAB service, or to other quality assured providers.
We have access to interpreters, and information about the service can be provided in a number of different languages.
We can advise people who have lived in the UK for less than 10 years, and live in the London boroughs of Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley.
