Are you looking for information or advice on public law? This includes any challenge to a public authority on public law grounds, whether by litigation or complaint, and covers all judicial review litigation and complaints to public authorities and ombudsmen. Types of case include: homelessness cases; cases concerning unlawful detention; planning cases; community funding; issues about public consultation; discrimination; welfare provision for people from abroad; litigation and complaints concerning government services, both local and national.

If you can't find the information you need online, advice centres are places where you can get advice, information and guidance on your legal rights, entitlements and responsibilities. Some of these have drop-in sessions and/or telephone advice lines; others provide specialist legal services, and can only take on cases by referral from other agencies.
