Looking for information or advice on discrimination due to because of age, disability, race, religion or belief, sex or sexuality?

Links are provided here to online resources where you can find free, independent and up-to-date information and advice on discrimination issues, as well as links to relevant government websites.

If you can't find the information you need online, advice centres are places where you can get advice, information and guidance on your legal rights, entitlements and responsibilities. Some of these have drop-in sessions and/or telephone advice lines; others provide specialist legal services, and can only take on cases by referral from other agencies.

All the advice agencies in the Southwark Legal Advice Network (SLAN) listed below have been accredited with the CLS Quality Mark, which means that they meet the quality standards set by the Legal Services Commission.

Forum on Equalities and Human Rights in Southwark

Southwark Legal Advice Network has been awarded a contract by Southwark Council to provide a critical friend to the Council around Equalities and Human Rights issues and support the delivery and development of Equalities & Human Rights in Southwark.The role will include the following functions:
• Policy and challenge
• Information and briefing to the Voluntary and Community Sector
• Consultation and partnership

The Vision for FEHRS is to champion a fair and equal society in Southwark by promoting diversity, tolerance and understanding with the aim of working towards the elimination of discrimination.
